I rode to Tedder Ave and watched a couple of transporters drive through, then I rode out to the Spit and photoed the remainder of the transporters. I approached Seaworld, my namesake "Frosty" Winterbottom's tranporter was parked on Seaworld Dve, so I stopped and took some photos. They were great because I could move around and have the sun behind me.
I dropped Lukey, Jodi and little Mase off at the GC600 at 7:30am. I then drove out to The Spit and photoed the transporters but the sun in in my eyes, so not great photos. About midday, I picked up mase from the GC600 as planned, we then drove back to The Spit, so I could show Mase the transporters. he was rapt. I picked up Lukey and Jo at the end of a BIG day for them about 6:30pm.
I rode to the track and proceeded to ride around the track. The security guys let m and others to do it. As I was riding down pitlane, a 'senior' eventstaff guy said I could take some photos, so I did. While talking to him, he said that some transporters were due any minute and that I could stay and take photos, if I stayed out of harm's way. Consequently, I stayed for over an hour and half, watching Shell and Triple Eight pack up all their gear. I was rapt to have the opportunity.
