1980 ish - A great sequence off Port Melbourne YC.

Back when we sailed, it was very, very rare to have photos of you sailing except at maybe the Aussie Titles.
Below are 3 photos taken at Port Melbourne YC, probably at an Invitation race. During this race, we were about mid field and as we approached the finish line, we spotted a photographer on the finish boat, so I sailed towards them, hoping that they may take our photo. Consequently, we got some great sequence shots. I was very happy with the 3 photos below. As I said before it was very rare.

Notice how JH (John Hargreaves) and I are looking at the photographer, while DC (Dave Carlyon) was 'concentrating on keeping the boat flat'. Sure DC, you didn't have your glasses on, so you probably didn't see the photographer.
